... lunch we stopped at a cafe and had gozleme (pron. gertzlemee) and apple tea. Gozleme are a Turkish pancake made from a flour/water/salt/oil dough and rolled out thinly. They are then cooked on a heated plate which is sometimes electric and sometimes heated by coals. The pancakes are usually stuffed with feta cheese and herbs, or sometimes with meat or egg. They are very delicious - or cok lezzetli in the local ...

The restaurant is staffed entirely with family and they were working hard to ensure that all of us were happy. We all ate for 98 TL which is about 50$ CDN. We had Meze of pizza bread, garlic yogurt dip, and cabbage rolls, followed by Pide - Turkish pizza and Calamari. So good. One of the meals for the top 10 list. Our servers ...

... the air con this morning. Feeling a little sorry for ourselves. However, we still decided to go sea kayaking. We headed down all ready to go, just forgetting a few essentials like water, food and money to buy some, brilliant. Good thing it is only 2pm and boiling outside. Anyway, we soldiered on. Well Steve did better than I did. So glad he gave into my double kayak idea or I would never have made it off the beach. We went a really long ...
