... winning again, 900 euro to be exact) or playing golf. Perfect!
One of our day´s we drove to Gibraltar, which is only about 1.5 hours drive away, but actually a part of England(?). I absolutely loved it, not because of the English-ness (Marks and Sparks, etc) but because of the MONKEYS!! I LOVE MONKEYS!! We drove up the side of the "rock" and visited a cave (pretty cool, but nowhere near as good as the ones down south ...
We woke with hangovers again and decided to go to the smugglers bar for a full english fry up. We have not ate bacon for the whole time that we have been away and I have been dreaming about bacon buttys lol. It was a really nice breakfast and just the thing for a hang over. We then went for a walk down the famous strip of the Costa Del Sol. Its ok and really pretty the beach is lovely and there are lots of bars and even spanish ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... was very tasty and I feel better that I can at least eat again without being so paranoid about where the food has been stored all day. We had met an english lady on the train that was so ill by the food in morroco that i felt really glad and relieved that we had come off so lucky.
Ian was feeling much better as well thankfully and we go on the bus to our final place the Costa Del Sol rodney! It was a ...
... well, I don´t think they really ride camels anymore in the city of Tangier anyway. After a couple more bus photos, it was back on the ferry to Spain.
All in all, here´s the verdict on Tangier. It is definitely a changing city, filled with construction of new hotels and lots of places trying to spruce up their looks. I wish we could have spent more time to actually see the real Morocco, instead of getting hustled around on the tour bus, but it was worth it none the less ...
... only seven suites, Hotel Claude is a stylish little sanctuary in the bustling historic center of Marbella!
This is the place you want to go when you are looking for a quiet and romantic break in an authentic Spanish village, but also perfect for any relaxing long stays if you wish to feel at "home"!! Not a place for those "Nikkie Beach" and "Puro Beach" party animals!!!!
Welcome to the house of Claude
This is by far the most beautiful city I have visited in Spain! Ronda is where the first bullfight took place and is home to the oldest bullring in Spain. The other students and I started out the day listening to one of our professors give a speech about the history of bullfighting, very interesting but after three hours I was ready to see Ronda. We then went to the bullring and had the opportunity to go inside where the fights take place. It was a feeling like no ...
Ronda, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands aperisee... order to get an early start in the morning.
Shae question for daddy: She's riding on his shoulders..."Daddy does everyone have hair in their ears? or just you? It's white hair"
Another one, Daddy is trying to get out of the parking garage in Ronda. It's very steep. He stalled the car 5 times and someone was behind him.. I'm laughing hard and Shae is laughing. She says, "Daddy you're a knucklehead." I really don't know where she gets that...;)
... that is a big country but the best way to travel is the Train..!!
Found online the China railway system and it will bring us into Beijing....
Shop around the wall and squares and back in the train towards Macao.
From Macau we want to take a boat into the mighty city of Hong kong.
Hang around Hong Kong and than with train again to Shanghai.
From Shanghai we will go with a ferry to Osaka/Japan.
It's 2 days on the ferry...with a sushi bar and ...
... out as soon as my rear hit the seat. In the wink of an eye or, extended blink of two eyes, I woke up in Ronda. I quickly debarked and sat down to follow the 2 O's essential to successful travel; Orient an Organize. Reorganized and Oriented x 3 (Therapist joke), it was time to store my luggage in one off the handy luggage lockers (lockers) that you find in every airport, bus and train station throughout Europe. These babies are quite useful to the luggage-laden traveler, but it is ...
Marbella, Spain sandramorrow... prices to those in the states via the internet. We were pretty relieved, we think we got it for about 75% off of U.S. prices. In leaving Gib there is a 1 hour wait with a vehicle to go 300 feet. There are signs posted about the "ques" (lines) that say, "They are politically motivated and it is part of Spain´s attempt to take Gibraltar back." The next sign said, "If you want to file a complaint with the E.U. here´s how...." Apparently the border crossing back ...
