... the next leg of our journey. An hour and a half later we were in Guilin, where we stopped to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin, resembling a giant elephant drinking from the Li River (have to use your imagination here), but we had to support the local tourist industry. We landed upon a very posh hotel and we are currently blogging from the computer in our swish room for a price less than we paid last night in Yangshuo. With a celebratory beer raised to our absolute stupidity. Lol at least we are learning fast! I doubt this mistake will happen ...

... games over here, especially on rest days (turning into a rest month).

The highlight of the day, no, the burn was not it, was bridge jumping into the river. Jaila and Jeremy had done a boat ride a couple days before when they discovered it, and we were all eager to give it a try ourselves. Following that the day was almost at an end and so we scooted ourselves as fast as we could to avoid the approaching darkness. Pretty tired out by our jam packed action filled super ...
