      ... of the great pilot episodes in recent years. It was very interesting and I learned a lot about the process of pitching a tv show to a network.

      Today, I ran 3 miles, went and got the oil changed in the car, went to Walmart and bought some $17 tennis shoes and some NON-Alcoholic Sangria, and wrote this blog. Productive day:) Not sure what we will be doing tonight, but I'm not to worried.

      ... a stroll down to Venice proper but not much was open at 9.30am. Got back to apartment and slept for 4 hours. Even more stalls in the afternoon, lots of live music - very cool atmosphere. Can't believe we are finally in America and it feels like a cross between Coolangatta and Byron Bay! In the winter. Went for a walk towards Santa Monica to find groceries and bought wine to drink on rooftop terrace. Lovely ...

      ... up booking a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV from Alamo LAX for the three weeks. At Alamo we got sweet-talked into upscaling to a Chevy Tahoe, which turned out to be a monster of a car/truck.
