    need to try In and Out before we leave California so we'll have to
    fit that in. The plan is NOT to eat takeaways every day or even all
    that often but I can see that will be something we need to watch as
    there are way too many yummy looking options at ridiculously low

    ... being awake before 5am this morning, Owen is STILL awake... 10 1/2 hours on a plane won't even put that kid to sleep! Then again, the amount of times the steward(ess) are round with food it's not surprising really! Tomorrow is an early start with our first attempt at American driving on our way to San Diego :D More exciting updates to follow (I hope!) ...

    ... Irish comedian, the Sydney Philharmonia Chamber Singers, a soul/motown/swing group. Most evenings though, we listen to a harpist and then, for a complete contrast, go to the pub to listen to an excellent pianist/guitarist who is very versatile with a wide repertoire. The pub hosts quizzes throughout the day so we usually catch a quiz before going to bed.
