... carpet floor as well as an assortment of LA locals, yes China Air is budget all the way. We had roughly 24 hours in LA before a connecting flight the next day onward to NYC. We arrived at a hotel about 4km from LAX, showered and thought we would get a few hours sleep before exploring a few areas of LA in the afternoon and evening. Little did we know how jet lagged we were and we slept until 8 pm and missed any chance of afternoon ...

We had a balcony so sat in the warmth of the evening sun with our red wine eating pizza for dinner. The weather is the best we've had, consistently pleasant, especially in the morning and the evening, no wind. This city seems to have a very laid back feel probably because it has a beautiful beach nearby.

Walking around Downtown reminded me of many movies although it was pretty quite as it was a Sunday. I learnt my way around pretty fast.

Headed into Hollywood Blvd and did the walk of fame. Very touristy and people everywhere - literally everywhere. Alot of people dressed up as celebrities and getting photos. I got hassled a ...

After a few mad panic, scramble days of packing and Birthday dinners, we managed to arrive at the airport on time and with all necessary documentation in hand. Thanks Tyler for acting as chauffeur! Had our traditional Big Mac before heading through Immigration. The flight was fairly painless, fortunately. No screaming children, or fat, smelly types wearing Jandals. We ...
