After having been to Santa Monica Pier, Today I went to Santa Monica beach. The beach is very pretty, I love this beach, it's 3 miles long covering 245 acres of sand. It is a surf beach so I didn't go in but the water was very blue and the sand was very white. I was amazed at how clean Santa Monica Beach is.

After visiting the beach I went to go have lunch at a nice café called "The Upper West". They had really nice café style food. I ordered a salad with buttered bread. ...

On Sunday 6th, we decided to go out with a glitzy bang from the USA and go to the expensive Universal Studios Hollywood. Unfortunately, it was a weekend and so it was extremely busy. The queues for the rides varied from 40 minutes to 75 minutes when we arrived. After queuing to queue to get into the place, this was a fairly depressing prospect.

... as it hadn't been heated all through, but the spices in the avocado sauce made it hot anyway, so it ended up being quite tasty!There is also a very old Firehouse here, built in 1888. It has a revolving part in the wooden floor to allow the firecart to be turned after the horses brought it inside-all ready for the next callout!
