Thank you Rowan and Michelle!

A travel blog entry by jessieanddavid on Mar 18, 2015

This morning we said goodbye to Rowan and Michelle which was sad because we've had such a lovely two months with them. It was good of them to let us stay for that long and we're sure they'll be happy to not have an inflatable air bed taking up their floor from now on! Our Greyhound bus left at 9am for Los Angeles where we'll be spending two nights before we leave for Fiji. Hostels in Los Angeles are quite a bit more expensive than ...

I actually tweeted about it, and Dollar offered a pretty bad response, haha. Including a 30 minute drive up to the Valley, it was 13.5 hour journey. We ended the night with delicious Korean food, and headed to Zach's sister's house. That's where I'll be for the night, hoping for a better ...

... room, watched a film and got ready for our flight home. Dropping the car off was hard, like saying goodbye to an old friend, and we had to eat the whole cake that the Magic Hotel had given us in the airport, which to be honest was less of a trial than giving the car back but still quite difficult to manage. And that was that, our American roadtrip was done and dusted.

Three states, four National Parks, seven hotels, sixteen days and 2093 miles in a ...
