... we have gone they are friendly, helpful and interested in where we have come from and where we have travelled. USA is huge, and although we have travelled a lot, we have only just scratched the surface... there are so many more places we would like to visit, one day. Los Angeles is a big, busy and smoggy city. It has been a great finish point for us all after our big trip and we have had lots of fun at Disneyland and California Adventures, Universal ...

... these rides still amazes me. For those of you who don’t know the Cars ride takes you inside a mountain (so we are back in the dark again) and takes you on a journey through Cars town. When you come out the other side and back into the light another car pulls up beside you and races around the hills and mountains of radiator Springs. It was just amazing. Certainly would have done that again if we didn’t have to wait 50 minutes again!!

The weather is amazing, so hot, it reached 37 today, tomorrow is meant to be similar, and they have issued an extreme heat warning for Tuesday with a high of 38. It is a lot more humid than home. We are off to Disneyland in the morning, we are all so excited! Woohoo! Next post will have lots of pics we ...

... The Tower of Terror was a stones throw from the hotel. It's so different than Orlando given that Disney Land is part of suburban landscape amongst hotel saturation, tourist shops and Target.

The most memorable parts of our short evening and morning in Anaheim were the lovely drop in temperature and Pizza Press. We are Italian pizza snobs. This requires a bit of explanation - to start, ...

... to Disneyland for the last time it watch the fireworks. The spectacular starts with a shooting star crossing over Sleeping Beauty's castle. Tinker bell makes an appearance as she zooms through the night sky. The fight between the two fairy godmothers in Sleeping Beauty is recreated as the sky lights blue then pink. And other classics such as Pinocchio and Mary Poppins make up the soundtrack. We leave the park feeling tired but all pretty happy. It's still my happiest place on earth.
