... to watch the racers go by and cheer on my friends. I ate a light lunch (half a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich and a handfull of baked chips), checked my bike over, hit the ladies room, then started warming up myself. ... being sent there via FedEx for arrival Saturday. After Austin, visited Bastrop a "movie set" town with over 130 buildings on the National Registry. Many movies and TV shows were filmed here. Toooo cute. On to Lake Conroe which is an hour north of Houston. We have friends who live here in a home close to Lake Conroe in a golf course community. Herb played golf while I went off with the girls. Next off to Louisiana and New Orleans. ...
We spent a relaxing week in Montgomery, Texas. We watched movies, took walks, read and caught up on emails and computer work. We made arrangements for the open items on our trip yet, so we are all caught up. We even paid up all our outstanding bills.
So, getting ready to take a cruise, but we'll stop at the NASA Center west of Houston on the way.
