In order to make the most of our drive through the state, we did some research and found a website that named the "8 Wonders of Kansas". ...

Hoping to shift into vacation mode...

Left home at 6:30am this morning. My Aunt Carol Thomas, whom I dearly loved and admired, passed away this week. Attended her funeral in Corydon this morning and burial in Cambria. It is hard to believe that we will not see her anymore, but she lived a long and very good life. I feel so bad for her family... it is hard to switch into vacation mode...
