Layover South
We left Crater of Diamonds SP and headed south back to the Gulf coast and New Orleans. After looking at the map, we decided we should have gone to New Orleans first, then north to AR. A lttle too late then.
The rv park we stayed in was a convenient, neat park with the best stocked rv supply store we had ever been in durng all our travels.

The Deep South
... to the Interstate and the water on both sides of this dark road almost swallowed us. It was eerie. The road sign said, “High Water.” That was no joke. I wondered how many times it took a boat to get through this way. All along the highway there is swamp land. I know this is not a possible winter home for me. Can you even imagine the creepy crawlers out there?

Starting things off
... work happens, community work calls, and personal issues fill up my time and I end up, similar to today, packing a few hours before my flight.
My brother Mark gives us a hug good-bye and my step-father drives us to the airport. Mom is more worried about them without her there than she is about our trip. Sounds about right to me. We get to the airport and right off we are having plane trouble. I hope this is not a sign.

There were about 20 people there. In this case (I guess I need to tell it like it was), I was just somebody taking up a slot and overall this was the one place I would not return to.
