... vibe, the Hall was filled with soccer girls. Getting to know the girls and talking so much soccer was a pretty cool experience. Spending most of my time in Suzy and Julia's room (German and Swedish girls), we became very good friends already. Us freshmen were talking soccer tests for the next few days, wondering what was going to hit us, and how intense the seniors will be.

... 2nd time I have visited here and I had forgotten just how big the park is... but more importantly I had forgotten how well marked it is - there are markers EVERYWHERE in this place - you can't spit without hitting a marker. It was actually one of the parks formed soon after the civil war, when many of the soldiers that fought were still alive, and nearly every spot has a plaque for some regiment or general! Then the memorials, statues, etc are countless... ...

Woke up to a misty morning and saw that the 10 Aussies had also stayed at the Rancho Inn, so not just me and Kenn who could choose badly! Had a chat with them, they were so organised that they had an "outrider(?)" in a large van with their luggage! Excellent...
