We arrived Friday evening at Florida Caverns State Park. The trip here was uneventful. We arrived just as dusk was approaching. The boys saw a cave entrance as we came into the park so as soon as we parked the RV they grabbed their bikes off the car and road down to the cave.

The main cave that tours visit is up on high ground at the entrance to the park. The campground was down on lower ground where the Chipola River spills into the forest. The entrance to the ...

... approach fix. Winds were 15kts just off runway heading but gusting to 22kts. The Diamond Star didn't seem to mind at all, with great stability on final and settled down nicely. We visited AERO-One FBO for fuel and had a quick early lunch at Willie's Cafe in the main terminal. I don't consider $60 a sale price no matter what the damn ...

JD is in high gear this morning. Took the truck into town for gas and quick Egg McMuffin breakfast. Pack up was quick and on the road by 8:00 am. JD wants to make it in 3 days so we're trying to do 470 miles today. Destination Dothan, AL. It turned 83 degrees in Montgomery - driving with the windows down - nice! Arrived earlier than planned at Pecan Point RV Park, set up and relaxed. Nice level site, easy access, facilities not that great, just ...

We checked out of the hotel in Daytona and drove directly to the huge J&P Cycles Shop in Ormond Beach to get a few more items for the bike to make our ride a bit more comfy. Then we drove into St. Augustine and spent a few hours with David's business partner and our friend Barrett. We ate at a sushi restaurant (where I got my first taste ever of Toro tuna) and then went back to his house on the St. John's River. I got to ...
