Nothing much to really write about today. We left home just before 8am. Filled up gas and had breakfast from Tim Hortons. We stopped at the huge US Air Force Base on the outskirts of Grand Forks ND. On weekends, visitors are not allowed entry, but we toured the display of aircraft in the garden at the main gate. A rare treat to get up close to some of these famous aircraft.

... 2 which is good distance when you're carrying a 40 pound pack. I was so happy when I finally made it to a gas station to replenish my water. Also, a farmer gave me a peach and told me "go west young man." When I finally got to US2 I stuck my thumb out and got picked up about 30 minutes later. ... up the Aliner would be much fun.

Not a lot to see today. There are miles and miles of flat Farmland. It is wet but some planting is taking place. Traffic has subsided somewhat. Still amazed at all the "boys with their toys" and then I look out my rear mirror. Duh!

Fargo – Where’s the movie? This is not the same town/city depicted in the movie. Modern, seemingly has all of the conveniences of a much larger city. ...

... of motorhomes - hot, dusty, noisy, upsetting - serene countryside being turned upside down. Triple Hs - hot, hungry and hassled!

Found a nice campground almost on the border - and did a bikeride before we headed out today. Tonight we connect with friend Gretchen in Voyageur National Park.

Adventures continue.
