    Made it to Nashville and went straight to The Grand Ole Opry with 3 minutes to spare..
    What an awesome night. This is where Keith Urban and others perform.. Been going since the 1950's.. It's the home of country music, and saw some awesome performances by some of the top musicians ...

    ... Katy Chiu and friends had recommended a local fried chicken house for some authentic fried chicken. Hattie B's was delicious! We had three types of chicken - all delicious with varying degrees of hotness. The local Tennessee beers couldn't keep up with the chicken. Tried to listen to some music at local bars, but the U. of Tennessee basketball team was playing in the sweet sixteen and music wasn't playing until much later at night. Too late for us old folks . . ...

    Today is Friday. Grant took today off so he could do some last minute things and pack the car. Which meant that he took me to school and then Biscuit and Missy to the kennel. Then he would pick me up after school at 3 pm.

    ... we are all learning some stuff along the way. Nora has learned that if she gets upset or frustrated with something, to cover her head with her blanket until she calms down.     ... Again, we spent about 3.5 hours and could have still taken our time to see more and to stroll around those gorgeous manicured gardens around the house and around their burial site.

    The house is impressive and the furnishings more so. But the grounds are too amazing for words. Over 1000 acres if I remember correctly (ha, that's funny)...and many acres manicured lawns over rolling hills and some cows with large white striped running over their midsections...oh ...
