Koln<br><br>After our Rhine cruise we drove in the coach to Koln (Cologne). Cologne is well-known for a few things, including perfume (4711 in particular), its Roman origins (as a colony &#8211; hence the name) and for its twin spired Gothic cathedral. This is not a great adventure, more a welcome back.<br><br>It is great to be back in Villiprott to visit our old friends since the 70ies. Now I have been staying with them for two weeks and we have done a lot of different things. This part of Germany have many interesting places to visit, both nature and culture.<br>

... June 25, 2005 I went to visit Julie in Leverkusen, a.k.a. Bayer-ville. It seems like Bayer owns that city. The view from her window is a little creepy to me. You can see many huge, tall smokestacks, a SmartCar tower, and this huge Bayer cross. Plus, it was raining, so everything seems dreary. I like my little village a lot better.
