... explore if you’re interested. During our last few days, we took a 2 hours sunset cruise on a yacht with free drinks and snacks (wow! ) walked to the other side of the island to see the kite boarding beach (breath-taking) and spent an evening in a disco drinking cocktails and listening to 2 young musicians who entertained us royally with tunes from the 70s ( I was in my glory!). That being said, it was incredibly cool to finally see a part of China, and the area near our hotel is totally decked out in Lunar New Year decorations. We are in Guangzhou after a 12 1/2 hour flight - enough time to watch four movies and have two meals! I spent a little time studying Khmer (the Cambodian language) and napped a little bit. Going through immigration, we were directed to the "Special" line since we were staying in Guangzhou for a couple of nights. You can stay without a visa for up to 72 hours, so long as you have proof of when your exit will be. We ...
