... that :-) On Christmas Day I took Serena to school as usual, but then went to Shanghai by train to meet with Pixie. We met in Xintiandi, one of the French concession areas that I had been to during the National Holiday, and had lunch in a place called The Fountain (which has a fountain outside it haha). There was also an au pair there from a different agency, with her host family. One of the former au pairs who came along to the party had been the au pair with that family.... but they had since changed agency, hence why this other au pair none of us recognised was there! I thought it was a bit strange they all still got invited ...

... you are still looking out for the colour-blind few who are in too much of a rush to stop; secondly, you have the right turners who will always go whether there is someone crossing or not; and thirdly, e-bikes, scooters and motorbikes (who do actually have a whole car-sized lane to themselves on the road) now become pedestrians and drive along the crossings! It's hell.
