... call to Henry, with very very little time to spare. Luckily the lady had explained this to her brother and he made a super effort to get us there. However Brendon and Toon were no where to be seen despite us calling them before the taxi. Thankfully they appeared right after us and we all got our seats a whole ten minutes before departure. It was a good thing we were rested too because it turned out that the first and only stop of the day would be Mt. Huangshan where we would be putting our calf and quad muscles to work for the day. The base of the mountain was about an hour outside of the city and along the drive we enjoyed some ...

... local snacks but gave a miss to the tofu and of course anything egg based. Also tried a nip of the local baiju with one of the many Chinese tourists who were also there to sample the wares. There are many small restaurants and cafes along the street and down the few side streets offering local and western foods.

My next stop was meant to be the Huizhou cultural show but I ended up feeling very sick and got taken to the local hospital. What an experiences ...
