      ... 18deg, whether it's actually 8, or 14, but this time when he said it's 25, I had to actually check the thermometer....
      So, I went for a swim and it was beautiful since the weather was as hot as Haides with Norway enduring 30-35C for the last couple of weeks.
      There were the usual kids and adults swimming from the quay, and as the day drew on, we evolved into the silliest/funniest/best diving exhibition from the board, ...

      ... I had missed my turn by 16 or so miles over a spectacular
      pass.
      coffee drunk and fuel tank filled I headed back up the road I had just come
      down. There were 3 other bikes ahead of me and so I simply followed in their
      trail.
      Finally I get the turn off to Austbygda and so I turn onto this little
      quiet scenic road. Within a few hundred yards this road starts climbing upwards

      ... back over a thousand years, and seemed to be quite a good place in our brief visit. We saw a couple of old Viking ships and and a few old merchant boats, and managed to be ready to catch the train in time..... Except... There was a breakdown of some kind so we were bundled into coaches and driven 30 or 40 Kms before being dropped at another station for the trip to Oslo's Gardemoen airport, and then to our hotel for an overnighter before staggering out to catch the 06.30 ...

This is an innocuous looking cup of hot black coffee, a lump of sugar.....and a dash of his moon-shine 96% hooch! ....let's just say that it's very effective....
