The sun did not appear as predicted. It tried a few times but was not successful. However, I headed into Algonquin Park anyway and hiked around Peck Lake and checked out a few other trails, despite the horrible condition of the trails due to the recent bad weather. We stayed at the Quality Inn Suites in Michigan which was also nice and affordable, but as we slept in we did not partake in what breakfast was available. Moving the clock ahead another hour really put us off a bit with our normal sleep patterns and we were a ...

... around the shops there and had lunch in a place called the Cottage which was right on the lake. We tried out some Muskoka beers and visited both Tim Hortons. All very Canadian. We sat by the lake in some Muskoka chairs and talked about our trip and the party being planned for us at home. The plan is to all go into Toronto on Saturday and meet up with Nikki, Joey, Andrew and Chris. We are excited about everyone being together. We will go back with Nikki and Joey on Sunday to ...
