Wow Mallorca, what an awesome place!!

Its difficult to think of what it didn't have to offer. What did it have to offer? Beautiful mountain and coastal scenery, fabulous food, great beaches, historical market squares and ancient architecture, quaint and quiet villages and farms, friendly people. Sure there were alot of tourists in some parts and some of the most picturesque bays were crowded beyond belief with English holidaymakers. So its not perfect by ...

Back across the island in Manacor, we had a very sleepy dinner and headed home to bed, tired and happy.

    Sean:
So our first full day in Mallorca and we were able to spend it with family (a true treat) in my Aunt Susan, cousin Vicky and her lovely boy Marc. For those reading who are unaware, Susan is my Dad’s sister ...

... we appeared from the gate. What a great hello!
The hour-or-so car trip from the airport was also trouble-free and it was great to see the Mallorcan countryside... leading us to collapse on Aunt Susan's couch and relax for the evening with our first home-cooked meal in 10+ days - a delicious lasagna, salad, garlic bread and lemon meringue pie. (Yum!) Lucky us to have such a caring Auntie! Looking forward to spending more time with the family and visiting the ...
