We have spent the past couple days in a tiny town called Bad Wildbad. It's an amazingly good town name and a fantastic place to be. We are in the northern portion of the Black Forest which is in southern Germany. The town is a retirement, rehabilitation, and resort area. Our final day in Baden Baden (Bath Bath) and we were looking forward to going to one of the many thermal spas that this city is famous for. We chose the Caracalla Therme and for three hours (!) we luxuriated in the various spas and aromatic steam bath. ... Saturday, they were not open at all - only the restaurants of which there are apparently around 150 in this small city! We could not get over the crowds in the city today. First by car, then two aeroplanes, a bus, three trains and finally a taxi - but we did make it to our hotel in Baden Baden after 30 hours !!
