... should see it at some time. Got my piece of the tunnels to add to the collection.

Verdun really shows the extreme of it all as the landscape is still marred and will always be. amazing as it is very pretty country in that area. It is great that they made the whole area into a memorial park. Seemed fitting. but when you see the memorial...and all the markers ... wow ... lot of reality check.

... The only thing that keeps us coming back or pushes us away from certain places is nature. The cities stifle us; creatively, mentally and physically. After only a few days surrounded by skyscrapers and department stores, we long to have trees shading us and mountains towering above us.

The durability of ones posterior… In Canada we are accustom to long travel to get places, we are the second largest country after all, and Alberta itself is larger then some countries ...
