Everything about the Cliff Side Suites was perfect. The views are AMAZING!! All of the suites look directly out at the Aegean sea and great views of the Santorni coastline, including views of incoming cruise ships. The accommodations are perfect and comfortable, including small indoor and outdoor seating and a small kitchenette. The hotel is quite; however, we were there before the tourist season got into full swing. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants and shops. Above all the staff is friendly and accommodating; providing recommendations and helping make arrangements for our group.

Hello from IOS! You have heard a fair amount about Naxos but I thought I'd fill in the details. We had five nights in Naxos in total. As soon as we got off our (wrong and way faster) boat we loved it! There were lots of families around, tourists but far fewer English people. Lots of local taverns and places to eat. A much more friendly vibe in general than Mykonos! So the highlights of Naxos include - cycling, the boat, a couple of really nice beaches and the outdoor cinema. Oh and ...

... water was incredibly calm, leaving my thoughts crisp and undistorted. Then I called the Yacht service in Parikia again, around 9:15---now past the time that we had been expected there. A familiar voice answered and quickly realized what I had called for. It was Michaelis, and he was happy to hear that we were close by and told me to sit tight---they would come and help. C and I put the dinghy in the water and attached the engine. Parikia was less than 10 km away ...

    • woke up and had breakfast • walked into fira and got on a bus to oia - the top of the island • walked down to the amoudi harbour which is where the sistedhood of the travelling pants was filmed • not much to down there and we had walked down so many steep steps to get there! • caught a donkey back up but was still so hot and sweaty! • walked around oia before getting the bus back to fira • went back to the hotel for a relaxing day by the ...

... visitor should be so thankful to be allowed to visit. I think Greece should have a good look in the mirror at their state of affairs and learn a thing or two about living in a global world. I have zero sympathy for their plight.

We continue to be our polite, smiley selves (except to queue jumpers) and try not let it rob us of a good time in Greece. The island is build on an old (still active) volcano (some say the lost city of Atlantis was ...

... hotel on the sunny side of the island, we relax and swim in the pool and soak in the hot tub before going into the main city of Hora (at the port) for dinner. It is one of the most amazing meals we have had yet, with dish after dish of fantastic food. Stuffed as we are, after dinner our guide takes us to a waffle and ice cream place for dessert. So much for expending more calories than I consume today! We’ll try again ...
