I finally hit the 100 mark and reached a campsite, which is more like a football field at the end of a line of kebab stands and campsite cabins near a lake, in Sielpia Wielka. ... where he had worked ( a quarry), and where the Kalisz family had lived for many years. We think Vik's dad sent a message - as a sudden thunderstorm surrounded us. Aunt and Uncle thought it was Vik's dad crying with joy!

Once back at their home in Kielce, Aunt Maria put on a traditional Polish lunch with various meats, breads and sour gherkins, which Vik did his best to demolish. He did ...

... us on our travels, so the afternoon was spent poring over this.

As it was obvious Aunt Maria was tiring, we left her to rest. We went for a short drive to gain a perspective of how Kielce is spread out. It was then time for a visit a shopping centre, similar to Marion. Jola led us straight to her favourite shoe store, and we were amazed to find great shoes for around $20AUD for me, and $40 for Vik.
