... br> destination for so many young Polish people.

    * We have a picnic lunch break just below Spiss Castle. Built in 12th century on the site of an even earlier castle, it was used as location for the filming of 'Dragonheart' & the 'Last Legion'. In the vernacular it is known as 'Spissky Hrad'. We are driving through a landscape of ripening corn and sunflowers in full bloom. As SG tries to ...

... and got caught up with everyone. While Eva cooked dinner for the group, we took a little walk to buy wine from a local winemaker, who's cellar we will be visiting tomorrow night. With our return, dinner was ready and we now had wine to accompany it! It tasted great after the long drive. After we helped wash up, we went for a little walk through the village to see where the wine cellar was that we'd have our tasting at. There were old wine presses ...

... made it but he couldn't speak English, he just shoved either ends into our mouth and started chanting us to eat it with no hands untill we kissed - hilarious, kinda like lady and the tramp style. The castle itself is in the process of being renovated back to its glory days but that has obviously not stopped the celebrations. Spent majority of the day there, before driving south towards Budapest, for tomorrow's ...
