Afrika roept!

Het is bijna 20 jaar geleden dat we onze eerste 'grote' reis maakten.
Met de fiets door Senegal en Mali.
Zo ontstond "Tombouctou voorbij".

Na deze vuurdoop waren we gereed voor onze motorreizen:
India, de Amerika's, de Zijderoute...

Vorig jaar ontdekten we de 4x4 in AustraliŽ.
En we waren verkocht.

En nu is onze Grote Grijze bijna ...

... waffles, beer and chocolate ...so naturally the next stop was the pub. We found a quaint little pub, which had been there since 1880 ...and I doubt it had changed much over the years! Our waiter was Jacques, who to be honest was a tad bananas, but added to the experience! I think we'll leave chocolate for tomorrow....the chocolate shop here you took a ticket to be served. ... nice or it would be if it was clean. The interns who are still here kept it quite messy. Also the fridge doesn't work, the tub is gross and clogged, and there's lightbulbs missing everywhere. The broken fridge is really a problem cause everything I eat usually is from there. The other interns used to just put their food outside cause it was cold enough but it's not anymore. We also have to sleep on cots in the living room since the other interns are still here and they don't appear to ...

After getting woken by our room mates very loudly packing their bags, we slept a while longer before getting up and getting ready.
