... had a session with the hand written blog that John had written and to sort it out. He had double entries on the same event and run one day into another, and missed one day completely! This was probably an after effect of his close encounter with a ships anchor whilst trying the dinghy the other day gaining a bad bang on the head (with big lump he said), and could explain why he was like a "bear with a sore head" at times ...

Our first full tour day begins with an abbreviated city tour of Brussels. Our bus and local guide take us past, among other things, the Sablon, the museums, the Bourse, the American Embasy and the European Union buildings. We get off the bus to take photographs at the Atomium (370 feet high, II spheres, each 55 feet in diameter), the symbol of the 1958 World's Fair.
