Beautiful fresh pasta at the grocer that you would pay a small fortune back home is less than 3 euro - enough to feed a family of 5, while the dried pasta is even cheaper, no wonder the Italians love their pasta. This is almost too easy: I get up in the morning, check my email as well as take a look at Google Maps to plan out my itinerary… grab my free breakfast… walk to the train station and catch a train to the spot where I ended my hike the day before. Early in the morning we sped away in a Mercedes Benz minivan heading south towards Napoli. We drove and drove and drove until we reached Napoli and the exit for Pompeii. Our driver took us to the area where we met our tour guide for the Pompeii excavation site. Through the gates of Pompeii we entered the exercise yard and areas where the gladiators were housed. This entire ...

... 8230;ah it was torture having to sit on a bus and fly by it all! Finally we stopped in Amalfi, a town just as cute as those we had passed through. Immediately we made
for a cup of that unbeatable Italian coffee and some of the best pastries ever. After a bit of a wander around the town, we decided to take a cruise along the coast, and, once perched on top of the stern of the boat, sea breeze in our faces, water lapping at our dangling feet, it became ...
