Day 13 - The day we truly almost died.

... had to take turns swimming while one of us manned the boat. Not the greatest experience, but not the end of the world either. We had to have the boat back by 6:30 and we recognized the rough water would make the trip back longer so we left around 4:45 to head back to Sorrento.

Words can’t even describe what the inside was like or what the water looked like. It was the most beautiful color of blue water and it was glowing. It was perfectly clear and for some way the sun hits the water into that tiny hole, it makes the grotto just glow. We ...

We enjoyed some great beach time and swims in the Mediterranean in the afternoons. This is the home of the famous lemons grown on the steeply terraced slopes above the cliffs that are used to make Limoncello- - a uniquely Italian liqueur. Of course we had to taste and buy.

So folks that is the lot. Here are some pictures.
