The Salmon River
... through twists, turns and some nice sweepers. It gets hard sometimes, keeping one eye on the road and the other eye turned to the enjoy the glorious view. The mighty Salmon river climbed gently through the mountain range and we were rewarded with some great views upon reaching the summit (or rather the plateau) of Lower Stanley. From here we were able to follow the river all the way to it's starting foundation as an underground stream.

A Wipeout and a Wonderful Day!
... a local fellow came over to our table and visited with us for a while. The folks we have met here have all been extremely friendly and helpful.
We ate dinner at the Sawtooth Restaurant, and it was another romantic restaurant with great food (swordfish). We sat upstairs in the balcony area, and our waitress was warm and sweet. We headed back to our condo where I did a load of laundry. Even in paradise the real world creeps ...

Can We Do This Again?
... of the Warm Springs side of the resort. Again, the food was great, and we were glad for the break. Afterwards we hit the slopes again, and we enjoyed the sunshine and the warm temperatures. What a place to ski! We are both getting more comfortable with these challenging slopes.
