Wednesday 1st May.
We arrived at Bright before lunch and set up our vans. David put up his full Annex as Tanya and the 2 children arrive on Friday afternoon. Sue and I walked into Town to the Bakery to buy rolls for lunch. After lunch we walked back into Town for a look around to see what had changed. Then off to Howitt Park and the sound shell to hear the Yarraville Brass Band.
What a great afternoon.
The Bright Brewery got another visit! We're almost permanent fixtures there now.
Back to the caravan for a home cooked meal, spaghetti bolginaise.
5th May Sunday
Off to the Myrtleford Market.
... sleep. So we headed back towards Bright to a park at Freeburgh. It's a lovely rustic park ... tall alpine trees and autumn trees and a lovely swift running creek at the back of the park. While we were sitting outside the van this afternoon three lovely little girls came to sell us chestnuts and walnuts for 50c a bag. We bought both and cooked some chestnuts in the microwave - really need an open fire.
