... to sample some chocolates. Lindt chocolate originates in Zurich, although here in Zurich, it is known as Sprungli. (The company name is actually Lindt and Sprungli). Their flagship cafe and store has a prime position and is busy all day. We highly recommend the chocolate, and remember that even I can enjoy some dark chocolate. We also fell in love with their version of macaroons, Luxembourglies. We had a quick stop off at the Frau Munster church, home to famous stained ...

... main shopping street (way too expensive for any of us) and main banking district. For an afternoon snack we couldn't go past some delicious macaroons from the famous Luxembergeri store along with a coffee down by the lake. It was then a girls afternoon and evening for AK and I as Vincent headed to dinner with his family. We had a final walk through a park in Zurich and alongside the lake and summertime outdoor swimming area. We headed home to refresh, that is, have a pre-dinner Lillet ...

... He is taking the AMTRAK from Portland to LA and wanted to know what to do in LA. Not knowing his interests we gave him the highlights of LA and a few tips. He then gave us some things to do in Luzern. We only have about a day and a half in Luzern, so we didn't ask too many questions. Once in Luzern, we walked to our hotel, which was actually was a jail until 1998. Dmitriy didn't realize it when he booked it, but it was the cheapest place he could find with decent reviews. It ...
