      ... house had some original slave cabins still standing. It was hard to believe how many people were crammed into the cabins when that giant house was looking down on them. I was eager to get down to the gulf so I didn't linger and hit the road again.



      A few hours down the road and I could see the gulf! It was a great feeling! ...
