Greif Bolzano

2 planes - 1 bus - 3 trains - 1 taxi later and we arrive in Bressanone. About 40 hrs of transit was well worth it... this place is adorable - its like walking around in a postcard. Have been snowboarding the past 3 days which was lots of fun - bussed up the mountain to Plose ski fields area... have added some pictures and will caption the pictures if we can.

... dishes as well as cutlery from a dollar store or something and bringing it with you cause it's pretty expensive here and there are no dollar stores to speak of. There is a market every Satuday across the river where you can buy pots and pans for cheap, as well as a host of other stuff. There is also a farmer's market almost every day a block or two away from the school.

The first day I went to upim, which is kinda like a Shopper's drug mart and a Linens N Things combined ...

... why the name has both an Italian and a German spelling. This is a very quaint town that looks to be fairly old with small winding pedestrian only streets. Street signs are here are written in Italian and German, and a vast amount of people walking around are speaking German. I took some pictures and got myself a quick bite to eat. I have seen a lot of people walking around carrying backpacks with hiking boots and trekking poles ...

... missing Ciba on a crossing route, the next play I dropped back looked right for Piva on a slant, didn’t like it, came back left to Reggie on the swing, saw the linebackers chasing him, so I scrambled out left into space, split two guys at the 7 then ran through a defender at the goaline to score from ten yards out. I like the film because Denzel knows what he wants really, to play music to pursue his passion and as he says in the movie everything else is secondary. He is content to just be. But women aren’t satisfied merely ‘being,’ they have to know where the relationship is going and what the future holds. From there the movie takes several twists and I don’t like the ending as much as I really like the first 4/ths of the movie.

Whew! The last three days have left us breathless and a little sore from hiking. When we first arrived here it was ******* with rain and there were no nountains to be seen. The weather channel said there would be rain storms and possibly flooding. Given the chance that we would probably not be returning to this area we had to at least give it a chance. Back in Bolzano May 19th-22nd   The train ride back from Milano was long and excruciating and I was flat broke.  I put the train ticket on the credit card and longed for pay day.  I slept and wrote away the four hour trip back to Bolzano then stopped by Alex's stand for some food.  I tried to hit an ATM first but it said I had no money left in my account, so I went back, and of course Alex said no problem and hooked me up with food.  I shot it with him for 40 minutes before ...
