    ... of the UN and there are NYPD traffic police officers on most corners supplementing the traffic lights. We saw large numbers of police cars and vans along our route and could hear helicopters in the sky. As always, there was the constant tooting of car horns and police sirens. On our way back to the hotel we had our best coffee in the US so far –at a place called Delecto – we also succumbed to a berry tart (David) and lemon meringue ...

    ... jacks, although the milkshake was really gross, the hash browns were alright. Now I'm sitting watching the planes take off, it actually looks pretty cool.
