    On Friday afternoon, 19th of June, Matt and I headed to Fire Island (a long, thin island that runs parallel to the Southern shore of Long Island.) Sylwia invited us along as some of her friends had booked an 8 bedroom, three bathroom place in the little town of Kismet. We had to get the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Bay Shore, a bus to the coast and then jumped on the ferry. It took a while to get there but it was definitely worth it! ...

    ... experience at Friar’s Head, it is imperative that all golfers be committed to play expeditiously. The pace of play for a four-ball shall not exceed 3 hours 45 minutes. One awesome golf course, this place used to be a potato farm (maybe they grew Idaho potatoes), and Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore converted it into a top track. Some really good scores, probably the stay at home night with Lairdy's burgers did the trick. Broughy excelled with 38, Guy, Clavo, ...

    ... and calm but not much to look at .Off the boat and off to our hotel in Riverhead .checked in and checked out our room good size with 2 doubles and a sofa bed which is nice and comfy ,decided to hit the factory outlets which are just up the road so had a wander and the girls did some shopping ,we pushed and shoved and rearranged the existing full car .we hadn't unpacked yet ...and managed to fit the extra ...
