... it a little different here than we do, all toobs have a bottom and you have a kayak paddle, but then again, the river is considerably more shallow and much faster moving than ours. No cooler toobs on this river and definitely no time to lounge and drink a beer anyways…you’re too busy trying to stay in the middle of the river and out of the banks. ... Id never been up this high before, certainly not in 40 degree heat anyway!
I pushed past the building on the summit and headed over to the eastern edge to get some breath taking views of the med sea and lycian coastline to the south and to the west the blue lagoon of Olu deniz, behind me northwards i could see over to where my hotel was beyond Fethiye and also to my right, eastwards i could see inland to places id yet to visit!

... just a huge amount of shellfish. In a very rich sauce. I didn't eat very much of it before I got indigestion. It wasn't until the next night, when I realized I'd been charged 26 lira instead of 16, that I was given seafood casserole, not penne.
