We turned off for the old city of Aspendos. The first thing you come to is the bridge across what was a pretty fast flowing river. I guess the snow is melting fast and the water looked the pale green colour of very cold melted glaciers. (We know we have tried to swim in them in Kazakhstan. A.) ... one can absorb so after a couple of hours we strolled along the seafront to the harbour and had very pleasant lunch watching the tourist boats come and go. Having said tourists, we hardly saw a European one all day; May is definitely a good time to come.
