... the next four weeks. We concluded our appointment with the Kingdom of Sweden fit the last requirement and made a 8:30 AM appointment for Tuesday morning, just a few hours before my Consul interview.

Being anxious about all of the details, I fretted about every aspect of this tight schedule. We made hotel reservation to stay overnight in Miami so we would be at the Passport Agency at dawn!!!

... a day to rent a bicycle. A can of beer costs $3.50, but a bottle of Australian, Lindeman Pinot Noir goes for $2.50. Who knows what a spiffy, art-decoish, three-bedroom family dwelling would run you. A million? Twenty-thousand? Check out the photos. This is actually peak season in Hollywood.

Anyway, Sunday we leave. We'll stop at an island in the Bahamas for a day ...

... to wait before the check in desk opened. Cannot say anything good about the lounge which has wine but no food which is bad news when we have 3 hours to kill before the flight!

It has been a great holiday. We will definitely travel with Regent again in the future. It is December 18th but have yet to get in the Christmas spirit. The hot sunny days seem to negate that. Couldn’t have Christmas in a hot ...

... before we located it. Mangos is like a family friendly version of Spearmint Rhino with the gorgeous bar staff taking it in turns to dance on the bar and/or sing Christine Aguillera covers. There was also a tribute to Michael Jackson which included three guys dancing to Thriller and Bad which was quite good.

We stood up on the mezzanine (there were tables for two along the railing but you had to eat to
sit down) and drank $15 Mohitos – the most expensive drink so far ...

... I joked about their
language, prior to my arrival.., I had no idea I would make an attempt to ever
speak it…, but last night after two months of my Chinese exposure.., I gave a
speech in Chinese, that I learned by phonetics….

I did this to demonstrate that my learning
method is viable solution…, for people that do not have the luxury of time on
their side…, I simply wrote the English words I intended to communicate ...
