2) the music is terrible; they use pots and pans loudly

... class, we continued to work on the pandas. In addition to the original panda, we learned how to paint them in different poses. I asked our Calligraphy teacher to paint the characters step by step. This proved to be extremely helpful for everyone in the class. Lonely Planet describes the capital of Sichuan "as grey, lacking any noticeable attractions, bad weather and awful traffic. And yet, everyone is left satisfied." ... Admittedly I shouldn't have been wearing flip flops in the rain, but it was warm and sunny when we left this morning. After what felt like an hour of slipping, should've been a 2minute walk, we reached the ticket office. And oh my word... it was heaving. Never seen queues quite like this. There were about 40 queues, each going out the door. No wander the trains get so booked up, there were enough people here to fill at least a thousand trains!
