    I decided I would travel down to Shenzhen (effectively the border city between China & Hong Kong) during Halloween when Jacob came up to Changsha to visit, I said at the time that I would make the return visit and the past weekend, I finally found time to make the 3 1/2 hour trip on the Chinese Bullet Train down South to China's economic hub which Shenzhen has become.

    ... The most unexpected treat was the fantastic Christmas displays that we stumbled across complete with Christmas music. It was very uplifting and moving – just what we needed.
