    ... it's made of bricks, but it is so called because its colour resembles iron. The pagoda stands 13 stories tall in the middle of a large park. It was a beautiful sunny day to spend in the park, posing with kung fu statues and sitting by the lake. Taka was the only one of us to actually climb the tower.     The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of activity, but we're done! We had our exit interview with the director in the morning and were officially finished at noon on Saturday. We both have lots of positives about the year teaching at QSI and living in China and we’re leaving on a very positive note.     ... me doing an individual oral exam with all 450 of my students. I've had 3 open lessons this week with Grade 4 and Grade 1, which involves the parents watching - I was nervous beforehand but they were just like normal lessons really! The students for the most part have been doing well in the test so I'm happy.
