... us at that moment. Ours was no problem - we paid our fee in RBM, fee differs depending on your nationality, not racist or anything - and then went back to the passport control, had ourselves and our bags scanned, and ended up in China!

China was instantly different. No more Cantonese which confused me and a more complicated way of doing everything. Every subway entrance and exit had a baggage x-ray machine, and if you wanted to buy subway tickets you could only use ...

Every day they have these steamed buns called baoze (not sure if that's the right pinyin spelling), which I love so much. Each day of the week I have 4 classes to teach, plus on Monday I have an extra class called VIP class, with the 20 students who are best at English in the year. It's a pretty long day, but teaching is really ...

... so clean (very different from Houjie!). Everywhere people were wandering around with their kids and playing games of badminton. I've noticed around here that Chinese people love to get out, walking or biking, with the whole family - including babies and children. It's really nice! They don't just stay in at the weekends and watch TV or go for a drink, they are always out doing things in parks or in the town. Whenever I see kids around though, they are always ...
