    ... public and private lives. The garden area was beautiful, and extended up the hill into dense forest.

    Unfortunately, the Matsue History Museum was closed today, so after crossing the Kitasomon Bridge, which is the gateway to the castle, reconstructed in 1994 as a duplicate of the original wooden bridge from the Edo era, we took ourselves off for a leisurely lunch and an early day to get ready for our trip tomorrow, when we get the bus to Osaka.

    Early start of the day, wake up call at 6am! It was pretty good to book train tickets the day before, otherwise we would be struggling with time!

    Today was our day at Kashima Junior High School. Tayla, Devon and Ethan all turned up with smiles on their faces, so that is always a good sign! kashima JHS is a small middle school with only 160 students. The school, however, is pretty big.
