... trains right up to the shinkansen on exhibition... well, at least the front bit of the shinkansen. Most were interactive and you could enter most of the carriages. There was a large turntable in the centre of the room which demonstrated the way they rotated the trains. Unfortunately, we were on the third floor when it started and by the time we made it down, we had just missed it.

There was a large model train ...

... with sacks of potatoes. We laid them on the ground in a single layer to dry. The bags got flipped over after 5 days or so. After the potatoes began sprouting eyes we dumped the bags into more mini bulk bags so they could be taken to the fields and planted (yes, they plant potatoes in February!). It was a lot of labour and long days.

... you were in another world. That was one of the things we loved was the random alleyways with bars and cool little shops all over the place. So training went on again for another week until Friday we had a mini-graduation ceremony and got our official pins/ name badges.
