... playing a game and we are a pawn. We initially thought we might volunteer at PAC the animal centre on the island, but they want a minimum stay of 3 months and we aren't sure if we can commit that long. Mike has returned and was shocked that we aren't staying on the island. I think he was expecting us to hang around and be waiting in the wings to replace David at the drop of a hat. Once we leave it will be harder for us to return.

... place is great. When one lies in the sun, lost in thought with the surf breaking gently on the slight sloping beach, just loud enough to simmer in the mists of one's mind, then one can truly relax body and mind. You are super high from the ground- much higher than horses and you feel a little unsecured at the top only because when they walk, they sway their body so strongly, your butt cannot help but slide each direction. Make sure you have a grip on the harness at all times to avoid any scares or possible falls. Adjust your camera ahead of time so that you don't take both hands off the elephant. That way, you will feel a bit more secure in your ...

... he's trodden in. My patience is wearing seriously thin.

We've realised during this visit that he is a perpetual liar. Before we set off for our visa run we purchased 2 micro fibre cloths for the car windscreens. Sometimes they need a clean. One car had a red one in the glove compartment, the other had a blue one. We were driving in the rain on our visa run and I went into the glove compartment and the cloth was missing. We'd only put it there 3 ...
