We have finally planned where we are heading next, horray!! We knew we wanted to head to Cambodia as the next destination, next issue how to get there? We found out we HAVE to go from Bangkok, so....why not spend New Year's Eve there? ... and asked what room I was in. I mumbled something about I meant id like to stay on the beach chair, to which loudly and politely said I would have to leave. A little embarrassing as several people were watching the scene go down. Little travel tip on crushing private beaches, don't use your own towel. It is a clear tip off that you do not belong to the hotel. Better to dry off naturally, then get kicked off publicly. You will thank me for this one ...

... had 40.000 people living there. Nowadays the population is doubled. Although still an island it hosts perfect shopping facilities, among which some tailors. No I promised TOM I wouldn't buy a suit (and I will not deny that he knows a thing or two about clothing) but shirts is another story. Our ferry from Koh Tao wasn't until 3pm so we just hung about the hostel for a bit. When we got to Koh Samui, we got a taxi to a hostel and checked in. It was great because our room had 6 beds so it was just us six sharing a room, and it was so cosy with a great pillow and a proper duvet.
