Welcome to my travelling blog. If anyone is at all interested this can be a quick and easy way to update lots of different people all at once so enjoy if you fancy some bedtime reading! So I've had my last weekend at home. It's been emotional of course ;) and I'm starting to really realise the big trip is fast approaching. About time! I've had my first practise pack...it was beneficial I promise...and I'm considering doing another JUST to check ...

All the entries for the last week have been updated, I've been busy writing the diary entries each evening in Cornwall so there's plenty to read from last Friday onwards as well as more photos uploaded from Cornwall.

We were off back to London this morning by 8.15 but I had another look down Chapel street and remembered to take a photo of the Dalek in the next door shop – what else would you expect to see?

We had ...

Coincidentally it was across the road from the Citadines where we stayed in 2004 thanks to a good staff discount from NZ Defence, and not far from New Zealand House which we visited and got to go up to their rooftop entertaining area which has a 360 degree view of London – amazing.

      And in line with ...

      Twickenham and the West End

First stop after a leisurely breakfast with Janey and Jeremy was Twickenham, only a short drive away from Hampton and a stadium tour was Jen's birthday present to Pete so he was pretty happy about that! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the dressing rooms or royal box and corporate areas because of upgrades happening so instead they reduced the price and gave him a book about 100 Years of Twickenham and a history of the 5/6 Nations ...
