      ... there are often thefts along the Malecon. Maybe they just don’t clean the streets on Sundays in Santo Domingo, but there were impressive amounts of garbage along the streets, maybe a product of Saturday night carousing since much of it was beer bottles and half-eaten Styrofoam containers of takeout food.

      I decided Santo Domingo was probably not a good place to take my camera out with me in the evening and was careful to have only a few pesos in my wallet and my passport ...

      ... trampoline in as many ways as I could think of, and I danced incredibly.

      That night I went for drinks with some of the US Peace Corps, who have invited me to celebrate the Fourth of July with them up in samana next week which should be great fun. Now I am trying to find time to fit everything into my time here, rather than the orignal plan of how to pad out my time ...

      ... here in Guazumita, looking for mattresses from the community, and what not.

      So updating my blog it didn't update right and missed these last few things.

      Sooo...I no I hadn't mentioned it in other blogs. But I'm getting married! April 27. Yep! Lol, Here in the Dominican Republic. 3 months away.

      May/June: fill out paperwork to head home. And hopefully start grad school in July/August.

      ... pins for a higher price. At least I checked out other prices. We passed the Hard Rock Santo Domingo, and I am glad we didn't eat there because it's not that good in the states either. We ended up eating at this small restaurant that Leah had eaten at before. I ordered something small because I wasn't that hungry. I got a Dutch grilled cheese and a Piña Colada without alcohol.
