Began our day with a water taxi to the Venezia island for a walking tour of the back streets of Venice.i was surprised to see how much land there is in Venice. There are some public squares, one of which, San Marco , is a popular meeting and shopping place. It contains the San Marco basilica- a building highly decorated in glass mosaics.
