Really long train journey packed with families who we think had been travelling for even longer than us. BUt the highlight was the food, they were eating duck embryos- looked and smelt awful.
Anyway Nha Trang is a pleasant beach resort. We spent one day walking and seeing the sights and second day on a boat trip with some excellent snorkelling-preetty fish and coral.
Post-storm, our boat trip was cancelled and the crystal clear postcard waters were brown and rough, but that was okay, we wandered the streets and bought pirated alternative music, explored the market beneath our jacket hoods and had some fantastically large prawns for dinner.
We took a flight from Hoi An to Nha Trang. I was stopped at the airport security checkpoint and the Vietnamese police went through all my magic stuff. After a short taxi ride from Hoi An, we flew from Da Nang airport to Nha Trang.
