Green Hotel Nha Trang

We arrived in Nha Trang at about 7am, after 12 hours on a bus - not recommended, trying to sleep on a bus is difficult enough without the frequent bumps as we hit yet another 'bad' patch on the road. After a short taxi ride from Hoi An, we flew from Da Nang airport to Nha Trang. Well I don't really have any news, apart from I arrived in Nha Trang last night - a nightmare trying to find somewhere to stay and eventually found a hotel and managed to get them to reduce the rate of the room so all's good! Nha Trang's sandy beaches is what draws the throngs of Vietnamese to this city. Sure, there is your usual legion of sun-burnt Westerners running around. We took a flight from Hoi An to Nha Trang. I was stopped at the airport security checkpoint and the Vietnamese police went through all my magic stuff. They even asked me to perform a trick at the airport to prove I was a magician. Post-storm, our boat trip was cancelled and the crystal clear postcard waters were brown and rough, but that was okay, we wandered the streets and bought pirated alternative music, explored the market beneath our jacket hoods and had some fantastically large prawns for dinner.
