Ul Jeziorna 1 A, Komorniki Poznan, Central Poland, Poland, 62-052, 810-80-75

The cathedral has been rebuilt but the highlight the tombs of the founders of Poland around 1000 AD. Next, the Art Museum which I like more than Wroclaw's. It is extensive.
For dinner, I go to a restaurant called Salt & Pepper. Very good food but when the bill comes, it is much higher than what ...
... in Poland and in other parts of Eastern Europe are exceptionally ugly. If all I did was look out the window when the trains stopped, I would just move on. Luckily, these are not at all a reflection of the towns.
Poznan is like a smaller scale version of Wroclaw. Just like Wroclaw, it is fascinating to walk around the old town. The Old Town Hall is beautiful. It is now a museum which is well worth visiting, especially for the ...

... it a little difficult to walk around which said something about just how many people were there. Late on the Saturday evening we went for a walk to Ostrow Tumski, the island where Poznan was first settled. Like Wroclaw, which also has an Ostrow Tumski, Poznan's was quiet and peaceful with a large cathedral, and it was a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town square for a while. I made my way ...
