got the western breakfast and after a longish wait, the meal was served nicely. Loved the outside seating. Sunshine and a lovely place. Didn't sleep or stay, but the outside grounds were great!

I love the patterns. Table cloth, pants, napkin.

We are taking an overnight bus (this an actual luxury bus, recent vintage, made by Volvo and with air conditioning, unlike the local bus on all counts) to Kochin, where we will rest up and recover from our ride and await the arrival of our friend Jen, who may well be smothered in conversation when she arrives and for days to follow.

I expect we will have wireless at our next few hotels, so I will udate when I can.

Eating out is wickedly cheap! I still haven't had a full on Indian meal just yet mostly because they only serve snacks when we've gotten around to eating dinner, but I'll keep you ...

No internet cafes either, so warn people if you’re going to Mysore so they know not to hear from you! I wouldn’t have minded that so much, but the guide book said there would be internet cafes and ...

People are sensitive to telling you what company they work with, I'm sure from a competitive intelligence perspective. Anyway the Michigan guys had just started their trip and were
asking me what I did for the weekend, in the way of recommendations. So I felt good that I was able to impart some advice along to them. They too have a dedicated driver for their first upcoming weekend, which is a good idea.
