The airport was closed when I arrived so crowds of people waited outside. I had no quarms in weaving my way to the front and sitting down on my bag to wait. Turns out it wasn't a metro station, but an underground walkway. Uh-oh. And by now we were getting pressed for time. We eventually got a cab by bribing him and paying way more than we actually needed to, but we got a cab. Only now it was rush hour, so again we were worried ...

... this tiny alley what sounded like heavy gunfire and explosions suddenly went off! The other two threw themselves down a different alley in fright and me and James' could not stop giggling when we realised it was just a little firework that someone had set off. It was now quite late so we didn't have a chance to do much else that day - and besides it was Josh's birthday so Skype calls to both families were required! Happy Birthday Josh!! We then dashed back out ...
