We were in Soweto, the same area Sue and her had visited a couple of weeks ago, but this time at an orphanage bearing large bags packed full of gifts. We had our tour orientation today and the two guys running it seem very capable and a lot of fun. So excited!! We leave tomorrow and when we get into our tents tomorrow night we'll be in the Kharma Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana.

... all our accomodation, paid the required deposits and are ready to "roll down the Highway" on our 2 wheeled steeds.
We plan to head out from Jhb to Kimberley (Northern Cape), into the Western Cape and then back home via the Eastern Cape and Free State. Direct route without our outrides, we are looking at a minimum of 4000kms over the 16 days in the saddle.
